Descrambling
InAnalyzerMode,SelectAutotohavetheanalyzerdeterminetheScramblingstateofthe
incomingdatastreamontheconnectorexaminingtheTS1Packets.Youcanforcethe
analyzertoeitherDescrambleornotregardlessofwhatisseenintheTS1packetsby
selectingOnorOff,respectively.
InExercisermode,youcanchosetheExerciserTransmitScramblingmodebyselectingOn
orOff.OnsendsScrambleddata,sotheDUTwouldneedtoDescrambleit.Offsendsdata
withoutbeingScrambled.AutodefaultstosendingScrambleddata,justlikeOn.Forthe
DUTside,itworksliketheAnalyzersettings,above.
Polarity Inversion
InAnalyzerMode,SelectAutotohavetheanalyzerdeterminethePolaritystateofthe
incomingdatastreamontheconnectorexaminingtheTSEQPackets.Youcanforcethe
analyzertoeitherInvertPolarityornotregardlessofwhatisseenintheTSEQpacketsby
selectingOnorOff,respectively.
InExercisermode,youcanchosetheExerciserPolarityInversionmodebyselectingOnor
Off.OnsendsthedataInverted,andOffdoesnot.Itisuptothedevicetohandlethese
cases.AutodefaultstosendinguninverteddatajustlikeOff.FortheDUTside,itworks
liketheAnalyzersettings,above.
Note:ForSpreadSpectrumClock,selectTransmit(Exerciser)toapplySpread SpectrumClockingtothe
transmitter.ToadjustthereceiverstobemoretoleranttoSpread SpectrumClocking,select

occur,selecttheExternalTriggerOutwithSimpleTriggers:checkbox.
