6. Low battery warning
If the symbol flashes on the screen, you must recharge the
handset before using it again. While it is charging, the
symbol will scroll across the screen.
7. Battery life
Under ideal conditions, fully charged batteries should give about
10 hours of talk time and 100 hours of standby on a single
charge.
Note: New batteries do not reach full capacity until they have
been in normal use for several days.
To keep your batteries in optimal condition, leave the handset
off the base for several hours at a time.
Draining the batteries at least once per week will help them to
last as long as possible.
The charge capacity of the batteries decreases with time and
use, thus reducing talk/standby time. They should be replaced
at this point.
Batteries and the handset may become warm during charging.
This is normal.
8. Turning on
When turning on your phone for the first time, you are asked to
indicate the country in which you are using it: select the country
using the / scrolling keys, then confirm with Menu/OK.
