CABINETBACKREMOVAL
1.Referto Figure 1,remove9screws.
2.Pulloffcabinet back andremove.
CHASSISREMOVAL
1.Removecabinetback.
2.Dischargethepicturetubeanode(2ndanodelead)tothe
dagcoating(picturetubegroundinglead).
3.DisconnectDegaussingcoilsocket(KE),Picturetubesocket,
Deflectionyokeconnector(KDY),Speakerconnectors(KL
andKR),and2ndanodelead.
4.Removechassiscompletelybyslidingitstraightback.
CAUTION:
Donotdisturbthedeflectionyoke
ormagnetassemblyon the picture tube
Neck.Care must be t ak entokeep these
assembliesintact,unless picture tube is
beingreplaced.Dischargethepicturetube
tothecoatingbeforehandingthe Tube.
1.Removechassis,referringtoChassisRemovalinstructions
2.Placecabinetfront facedownonthesoftsurface.
3.Removethescrewoneachcornerofthepicturetubeand
GENTLYliftthepicturetubeoutofthecabinet.
4.Installareplacementpicture tubeinreverseorder.
Properly install thedegaussingcoilandpicturetube
grounding leadonthepicturetube.SeeFigure2.
