2.8. Handling batteries
In principle, only use the type of battery included in the delivery.
DANGER!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of batteries poses a risk of injury!
Never open batteries, short-circuit them or throw them
into flames.
Never charge batteries. Attempting to charge batteries can cre-
ate a risk of explosion.
The polarity must be correct! Make sure that the plus (+) and
minus (-) poles are inserted correctly to avoid a short circuit.
Only use batteries specified for this product.
Remove the batteries from the device if it is not going to be used
for a long time.
Remove exhausted or leaking batteries from the device immedi-
ately.
If batteries have leaked, there is a risk of burns if the liquid
comes into contact with the skin.
Keep both new and used batteries out of the reach of children.
There is a risk of internal injury if batteries are swallowed.
The battery acid in the batteries can cause injuries if it comes
into contact with the skin.
In the event of accidental ingestion or if there are signs of
skin burns, rinse the affected areas
with plenty of clean water and seek
medical attention immediately.
