2. PREPARING YOUR PHONE FOR USE
2.1 Install the battery
Sim ply place t he bat t ery in the grooves on t he back of t he phone. Then slide t he
bat t ery upward unt il clicks.
2.2 Remove the battery
N ote : Swit ch t he phone off before removing t he bat t ery!
Press and hold t he but ton at t he t op of the batt ery.
Slide t he batt ery t oward t he bott om of t he phone.
Lift t he batt ery off t he phone.
2.3 Charge the battery
• Connect the lead from the charger to t he bot t om of t he phone.
• Connect the charger to an AC wall outlet . The batt ery indicator bar starts t o
scr oll.
N ote : I f t he batt ery is t otally em pt y, it m ay take a few m inut es before the
ch arging indicat ion appears on t he scr een.
Tip: The phone can be used while charging if t he phone is swit ched on.
N ote : Disconnect your ph one from t he charger if t he phone becom es hot durin g a
call.
• The bat t ery is fully charged when t he bat t ery indicat or bar st ops scrolling, and
t he Bat t ery full t ext is briefly displayed if t he phone is swit ched on. Charging
time depends on the charger and batt ery used.
• Disconnect t he charger from t he AC out let and t he phone.
