7. ENTER LETTERS AND NUMBERS
You can ent er let t ers, as well as num ber s, when st oring inform at ion int o your phone
by using your phone’s keypad. To ent er lett ers, press t he key associat ed wit h t he
let ter you wish to ent er unt il it appears on t he screen (numbers also appear).
7.1 Enter letters
When you want t o add new names or when you view
nam es in t he phone book, y our phone aut om at ically
switches t o the ABC m ode and displays the


ΑΒΧ icon.
• Press a key once or several t imes t o ent er t he lett er(s)
you want .
For example, press the 2 key t hree times t o enter the let t er C.

To edit a nam e in t he phone book:

scroll key t o move t he cursor t o the left .

CLEAR to cor rect any mistakes.
7.1.2 Change from capital (uppercase) letters
To swit ch bet ween capit al let t ers( uppercase) and lower case let t ers:
• Press t he < # > key.
