The Terminal avoids registration in fall-back cells unless there are no other available
cells. Services available in this mode will depend on system configuration.
Consult your supplier for other available services and special options.
8.6 Data services
From the menu Settings\Data settings, options ‘Voice & Data’ and ‘Only Data’ can be
selected.
- With ‘Voice & Data’, voice services and short data messages (text messaging and status)
will be activated simultaneously and managed through user interface.
- With ‘Only Data’, voice services will be ignored and the terminal will enter into a data
working mode, with which an external application will be able to use the terminal to send
data.
Data connection will be done through the auxiliary connector and it will be configured with
the following available ways:
- Packet Data (Mono and multislot services)
- Standard Protocol PEI: AT commands to send remotely short data messages
(text messages and status messages).
