Function Keys
Operation of the Phonecell
®
SX5 is accomplished though the function keys on the keypad of the
unit - see Figure .
LCD Display Icons
Icons displayed on the LCD display indicate the features in use, the status of the phone, signal
strength and battery status - see Figure .

Received Signal
Strength
- Indicates the
strength of the current
signal. The more bars,
the stronger the signal.
Message
- Displays when
you have a new text or
voicemail message.
Speake
r--indicates speaker phone is
off-hook.
Call-
-indicates that the handset
is off-hook
Battery
- Indicates the level of battery
power. The more bars, the more power.
Clock
Soft keys
--these keys will change when you enter different sub-
menu’s to access the phone’s features. Press the corresponding
soft key buttons to use the soft keys
Alarm
- Indicates that you
have set the Phonecell’s
alarm.
