12.3 WAN Settings
12.3.1 Overview
This module enables you to modify MTU, speed and MAC address of the WAN port. If you cannot access the
internet after configuring the internet settings, try modifying the WAN parameters.
To access the configuration page, click System Settings > WAN Settings.
Parameter description:
Parameter
Description
MTU
Maximum transmission unit (MTU). It specifies the size of the largest data packet that can
be transmitted across the network devices. You are recommended to retain the default
value.
Speed
It specifies the speed of the WAN port of the router.
If the LED indicator of the WAN port is off, or does not turn on until 5 seconds later under
the circumstance that the quality Ethernet cable has been connected correctly, you can
select 10 Mbps FDX or 10 Mbps HDX from the drop-down list box of Speed.
Otherwise, you are recommended to retain the default configuration 1000 Mbps
