Fields in the RSTP Bridge Overview table on the above page are described as below:
Field Description
Bridge ID The current Bridge ID, a switch is called a bridge in STP. The bridge
ID which consists of bridge priority plus bridge MAC address is a
determinant in selecting Root Bridge in spanning tree initial phase
Hello Time Hello time of a root bridge
MAX Age MAX Aging time of a root bridge
Forward Delay Forwarding Delay time of a root bridge
Topology This field displays two states: steady and changing
Root ID The bridge ID of a root bridge selected in STP, namely the bridge
with smallest bridge ID which consists of system priority and MAC
address

Path Cost Displays port path cost values
Edge Port
Displays “Yes” or “No”; “Yes” indicates the corresponding
port is a edge port while “No” indicates the opposite meaning
P2P Port
Displays “Yes” or “No”; “Yes” indicates the corresponding
port is a point-to-point port while “No” indicates the opposite
