Installation instructions for kit number 9010085
SYNOPSIS:
This kit contains the parts needed to replace telemetry module on 5680, 5700, 6100E, 6200E, M20,
T20, M30, 8300, S20E, S20, S30, SS5, T5, T5E, T7, SSR, T12, T16, and T17 machines.
Please follow step-by-step instructions.
SPECIAL TOOLS / CONSIDERATIONS: NONE
(Estimated time to complete: 45 minutes)
The IRIS (telemetry module) must be activated to complete this installation. The module will
not
function until it is activated. Call for assistance (North America - Technical Support / Australia -
CCC) activating the module after
all telemetry components have been installed. Have machine
serial number and IRIS module SIM number (located on back of IRIS control box assembly) ready
when calling for activation.
PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Please dispose of packaging mat erials , used machine component s
such as bat t er ies and f luids in an envir onment ally saf e way according
to local was t e disposal regulat ions.
Always remember to recycle.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1. Prior to replacing the telemetry control box,
call Technical Support / CCC to troubleshoot
the telemetry control box and confirm it needs
to be replaced.
2. Proceed with the instructions in this IB to
replace the telemetry module if
troubleshooting indicates there is a problem
with the telemetry module.
PREPARATIO N:
1. Park the machine on a clean level surface,
turn off the machine, remove the key, and set
the parking brake (if equipped).
FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing
machine, stop on level surface, turn off
machine, remove key, and set parking brake (if
equipped).
2. Gas / LP / Diesel Machines: Disconnect the
battery cables from the battery.
Battery Machines: Disconnect the battery
cable from the machine.
W ARNING: Always disconnect battery
cables from machine before working on
electrical components.
