Replace Telemetry Module (NA Only)

INSTALLATION:
1. Disconnect the telemetry harness and
antenna cable from the existing telemetry
module. (Fig. 1)

2. Remove the telemetry module from the
machine. Set the hardware and telemetry
module aside. Refer to applicable installation
Instruction Bulletins (IB) and Parts Manuals
for telemetry module locations.
NOTE: Do not discard the removed telemetry
module until after the new telemetry module (1) is
installed on the machine and fully operational.
3. Remove the additional SIM label from the
back of the control box (1) and set label aside
in a safe place. The number on the SIM label
will be needed for activating the machine.

4. Use saved hardware to install the new
telemetry module (1) onto the machine.
5. Connect the telemetry harness and antenna
cable to the telemetry module (1). (Fig. 1)
6. Reconnect the battery cables to the battery /
reconnect the battery cable to the machine.
7. Gas / LP / Diesel Machines: Turn the key to
the ON position, but do not start the machine.
Battery Machines: Turn the key to the ON
position.
8. Complete the repair order. Select Failed to
Report - Faulty Module from the Symptom
Search pull down menu. Include the machine
model number and serial number . (Fig. 3)

9. Follow standard return process to return
malfunctioning telemetry unit to Tennant
Company.
10. North America Customer Locations:
Activate the IRIS (telemetry module): Call
Technical Support (between hours of 7:00 am
and 5:00 pm CST) for assistance to activate
the module. The IRIS telemetry system must
be activated to complete this install. Have the
machine serial number and IRIS module SIM
number ready when calling for activation.
