• Fill the tank (11) with water.
• Select the desired steam output by turning the steam control dial (5).
Note:
• The steam is dispensed only if the knob (9) was positioned in
correspondence to the ••• symbols.
The steam production is interrupted automatically when the iron is positioned
vertically during a pause in ironing
Water may be discharged together with the steam on rst use. This is normal.
Before ironing carry out tests on old fabric.
Place the steam control dial (5) on the “0” position.
This function allows moistening the linen during steam ironing and dry ironing.
Press the spray button (6) in pulses to activate this function and direct the water jet
onto the most resistant creases.
Press the super-steam dial (5) in pulses: the iron will discharge a highpowered
instantaneous jet of water.
Nota:
Do not press the dial (5) too many times in succession, as this may cause non-
vaporised drops of water to be discharged.
• Use this function only with the knob (9) positioned on the symbols •••
• Mineral particles may be discharged at each use of the super-steam function, do
not discharge the rst jets pf steam directly onto the linen.
This system prevents the iron from dripping onto the linen. The device
intervenes automatically if, for whatever reason, the temperature of the
soleplate lowers.
• Before carrying out any cleaning operation turn off the appliance, disconnect the
plug from the power outlet and wait for the appliance to cool down completely.
• Clean the body of the iron with a soft damp cloth.
Regularly clean the soleplate using a normal non-abrasive sponge, so as not to
damage the surface.
• Do not use chemical (e.g. decalcifying agents) or abrasive (e.g. steel wool)
substances.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Important:
• Never leave the iron unattended when it is connected to the power outlet.
• The iron must be used and left in the rest position (e.g. during ironing pauses)
on a stable surface.
Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if there are signs of damage or if
water leaks from the soleplate.
Recommendations:
• First iron the most delicate fabrics that require low temperatures and then move
onto more resistant fabrics that require higher temperatures
• Before ironing run the iron over a small hidden area of your garment to make sure
the temperature selected is suitable to the type of fabric.
Your iron comes with an automatic cleaning system to remove any
mineral deposits. This operation should be carried out at least once a
month to be effective.
Proceed as follows:
• Set the dry function.
• Fill the tank up to the MAX level.
• Let the iron operate bringing the soleplate to the maximum temperature.
• When the iron is ready, disconnect the plug from the power point.
• Position the steam control dial (5) on the “automatic cleaning” symbol and
shake the iron in a horizontal position over a sink or a basin until the tank is empty.
• Bring the dial (5) to the “0” position.
Connect the plug to the power outlet and move the iron over an old cloth, remove
all remaining water present in the plate.
Important:
• Do not come into contact with the water that exits from the plate since it is very
hot and could cause burns.
• Before using the iron again, pass the cold soleplate over a dry cotton cloth.
• Disconnect the plug from the power point.
• Empty the tank
• Always put the steam control dial (5) in the “0” position.
• Let the iron cool down completely.
• Wind the cord around the back part of the appliance.
• Store the iron in a vertical position.
