LEDSense® OPERATION, THERMAL DERATING, & LUMEN MAINTENANCE
The TRK-R16 employs TerraLUX’s patented LEDSense® Thermal Management Technology to automacally provide max-
imum light output in various xtures and operang condions while assuring long-term lumen maintenance. LED-
Sense® regularly measures the operang temperature and ensures compliance with a pre-programmed temperature
and drive-current prole. This prole is based on the LED manufacturer’s LM-80 data report and minimum L70/60,000
hour lumen maintenance curves. LEDSense® is always acve, and will compensate for variaon in thermal condions
due to heatsinking, ambient air, module posioning, or any other variable that aects the operang temperature. The
Thermal De-rang curve below idenes the relave light output that can be expected under various thermal condi-
ons. The LEDSense® Power Curve idenes the reducon in input power over temperature. .
