STEPS TO BE TAKEN IF MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:
Contain spilled product by diking. Eliminate all possible ignition sources.
Provide adequate ventilation. Equip emergency responders with appropriate
personal protection equipment. Take up spill with an absorbent material and
place in non-leaking container. Seal container for proper disposal.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:
Do not incinerate closed containers. Dispose of in accordance with local,
state, and federal regulations. Do not flush to sewer, watershed or waterway.

PRIMARY ROUTES OF ENTRY: Inhalation and skin contact.
CARCINOGENICITY: NTP? NO IARC? YES* OSHA REGULATED? NO
EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE:
EYE CONTACT: Causes irritation and pain, seen as excess tearing and blinking
with marked excess redness and swelling of the conjunctiva.
SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged and repeated liquid contact can cause defatting and
drying of the skin which may result in skin irritation and dermatitis. May
be absorbed through the skin.
BREATHING: Vapors or mist may cause irritation to the eyes and respiratory
tract. High concentrations may cause headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting
and malaise.
SWALLOWING: May cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and may also
cause effects resembling those from inhalation of vapor.
TARGET ORGAN EFFECT: Overexposures to Propylene Glycol n-Butyl Ether and
Dipropylene Glycol n-Butyl Ether has been suggested as a cause of the
following effects in laboratory animals: mild reversible liver effects and
mild reversible kidney effects.

-------------------- SECTION VII EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES -------------
EYE CONTACT: Wash immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes while holding
eye lids open. Call a physician.
SKIN CONTACT: Remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap
and water thoroughly. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
BREATHING: Remove victim to fresh air and provide oxygen if breathing is
difficult. Give artificial respiration if not breathing. Get medical attention.
SWALLOWING: Contact physician, medical facility, or poison control center for
advice on whether to induce vomiting. If possible, do not leave individual
unattended.
