LIPSYNC
Digital image processing in the television set requires
some time. In order to keep the image and sound
synchronous, television sets delay the sound by a few
milliseconds. For synchronous receiver sound, you can set
the audio delay from 0 to 120 ms.
The current setting in milliseconds (ms) appears in the
display panel.
With the navigation buttons 59Ï” and 43Å, you
can now set the audio delay from 0 to 120 ms.
SURROUND
Briefl y tipping the navigation buttons 59Ï” and 43Å
switches between the available modes:
5.1 CH 5.1 channel surround sound
DPLII” Dolby® ProLogic 2.
STEREO” Stereo playback.
TONE
With the navigation buttons 42” and 58”, sel ect
the desired range of the sound control:
Bass low tones (bass tones)
Treble high tones
With the navigation buttons 59Ï” and 43Å, you can
now set the selected range from “6” (decrease) to “+6
(increase).
DISTANCE
The surround sound effect may be disrupted if the speak-
ers are positioned at different distances to the listening
position. To compensate for these delays, set the dis-
tances from the listening position to each speaker within
a range from 0 to 400 cm here.
1. Select the desired speaker with the navigation buttons
42” and 58”:
C – Center
FL – Front left
FR – Front right
SW – Subwoofer
SL – Rear left
SR – Rear right
2. With the navigation buttons 59Ï” and 43Å, set the
distance from the listening position in the range from
“0” to400” in 20 cm increments.
3. Finish by pushing the button 45 “Return.
