Setup and connection Setup location • Select a stable, level base. • Make sure that the environment is clean and free from dust. • Avoid placing the unit close to sources of heat or in direct sunlight. • Arrange the connector cables so that they do not pose a trip hazard. • Do not place any heavy objects on top of the cables or the unit. you can purchase at a qualified technical outlet. • Push the switch 3 “MC – MM” to the position of the input in use.
Amplifier/receiver • Connect the output jacks 5 “OUTPUT” with an available input on your amplifier/receiver (e.g. CD, AUX or TAPE). You will need a stereo RCA cable for this. You can find suitable cables in our webshop (www.teufelaudio.com) in the “Accessories” area. Connection to a power supply • Connect the small mains adapter plug • 햳 with the jack 8 “24V DC” of the pre-amplifier 햲. Plug the mains adapter 햳 into a mains socket.
Operation Activating and deactivating • Turning the device on: Push the switch 6 “POWER” to the right into the position “ON”. The power LED 1 will light up. • Turning the device off: Push the switch 6 “POWER” to the left into the “OFF” position. The power LED 1 will turn off. If at some point the pre-amplifier does not function as expected, please check all connections as described in the previous chapter. 6 1 Care and cleaning Clean the device regularly with a soft, damp microfibre cloth.
