Installation Connecting the Raumfeld Speaker L 1. Position the two speakers in your room and connect them to each other using the speaker cable provided. ĕ You can choose which of the two speakers you want to control with the left stereo signal, and which with the right, at a later stage. ĕ Please make sure that the colour coding of the cables match the connectors on each speaker, as the wrong polarity will have an adverse effect on the sound.
Installation Connecting a single external music source A single external music source such as a MP3 player, a CD player or a TV may be connected directly to the Speaker L. Simply use a RCA cable to connect the music source to the analogue audio input on the back of the active speaker („Line In“). ĕ The signal of the external music source will be played back directly without a delay, assuming the Speakers are switched on and no other stream is currently playing.
Installation Connecting to an external stereo amplifier Should you wish to connect multiple music sources, e.g. a CD player, a record player AND a TV, connect them to an external stereo amplifier. To hook up the stereo amplifier with your Speaker L you may either connect the amplifier‘s „Tape Out“ connector to the speakers via a RCA cable (see page 10). Alternatively you may use your Speaker L like conventional passive loud speakers.
