5.1 Interface Description

Table 5-1 summarizes the external pins of the video DAC.

PIN NAME I/O DESCRIPTION

tv_out1 O TV analog output composite DAC1 video output. An external resistor is connected between this

node and tv_vfb1. The nominal value of ROUT1 is 1650 . Finally, note

that this is the output node that drives the load (75 ).

tv_out2 O TV analog output S-VIDEO DAC2 video output. An external resistor is connected between this

node and tv_vfb2. The nominal value of ROUT2 is 1650 . Finally, note

that this is the output node that drives the load (75 ).

tv_vref I Reference output voltage from internal A decoupling capacitor (CBG) needs to be connected for optimum

bandgap performance.

tv_vfb1 O Amplifier feedback node Amplifier feedback node. An external resistor is connected between

this node and tv_out1. The nominal value of ROUT1 is 1650 (1%).

tv_vfb2 O Amplifier feedback node Amplifier feedback node. An external resistor is connected between

this node and tv_out2. The nominal value of ROUT2 is 1650 (1%).
