SELECT - Wireless thermometer

• The time zone setting is needed for countries where the DCF signal
can be received but the time zone (-12/+12) is different from the DCF
time (e.g. +1=one hour later).
• Confirm with MODE button.
• The display shows the current time.
• The manually set time will be overwritten by the DCF time when the
signal is received successfully.
7.2 Setting of the alarm time
1. Alarm time
• Press MODE button once and you enter the setting mode for the first
alarm time.
• “1” flashes and the alarm time and ON or OF (default: 7.00 and OF)
appear on the display.
• Press and hold MODE button for 3 seconds.
• The hour digit is flashing.
• Press -/°C/°F button or +/12/24 button to adjust the hours.
• Press MODE button to confirm it.
• The minutes are flashing. Set minutes in the same way.
• Confirm the setting with the MODE button.
• To activate (ON) or deactivate (OF appears on the display) the alarm
function press ALARM button.
• The actual time and the alarm symbol 1, if activated, will appear on
the display.
• Once the alarm starts to ring, the alarm symbol 1 flashes.
• Press any button to turn off the increasing alarm. If the alarm will
not be turned off, the instrument will automatically turn off after
approximately 2 minutes.

During the alarm sound press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button and the
snooze function is activated.

• Once the snooze function is activated the alarm symbol flashes and
the alarm sound will be interrupted for 5 minutes.
• The snooze function can be activated 7 times.
2. Alarm time
•
Press MODE button in normal mode twice to enter the setting mode
for the second alarm time.
• “2” flashes and the alarm time and ON or OF(default: 7.00 and OF)
appear in the display.
• If necessary adjust the second alarm time in the same way.
7.3 12 and 24 hours system indication
•
Press +/12/24 button in normal mode to choose 12 HR or 24 HR sys-
tem.
• In 12 HR system AM or PM appears on the display.
7.4 Backlight
•
Press SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the backlight.
7.5 Temperature display
•
Press -/°C/°F button to change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit)
as temperature unit.
7.6 Temperature alarm
•
Press the ALERT button at the backside of the basic unit.
• appears on the display of the outdoor and indoor temperature.
• The temperature alarm function is activated.
• Press and hold ALERT button for 3 seconds.
• The indoor temperature disappears and and --.- flash.
• Press -/°C/°F or +/12/24 button to toggle between indoor or outdoor
temperature alarms.
