• Press the ALERT button again.
• and 50 °C (default) or the last adjusted upper temperature limit
are indicated.
• Press -/°C/°F or +/12/24 button to adjust the upper temperature limit.
• Confirm with the ALERT button.
• and 0°C (default) or the last adjusted lower temperature limit is
indicated.
• Press -/°C/°F or +/12/24 button to adjust the lower temperature limit.
• Confirm with the ALERT button.
• In the case of an alarm, the corresponding value flashes. Press any
button to turn off the alarm. If the alarm will not be turned off, the
alarm sound is activated for 5 seconds and will be repeated after 1
minute.
• The alarm warning will be repeated 5 times.
• When temperature is again within the selected limits the alarm signal
will stop and the flashing icon disappears.
• Press the ALERT button to switch off the temperature alarm function.

7.7 Trend pointer
•
The trend pointer displayed on the LCD indicates if the outdoor tem-
perature is increasing, steady or decreasing.
7.8 Indication of maximum and minimum of the outdoor and indoor
temperature
•
Press MAX/MIN button in normal mode.
• MAX and the maximum outdoor and indoor temperature appear
since the last reset.
• Press MAX/MIN button again.

• MIN and the minimum outdoor and indoor temperature appear since
the last reset.
• Press MAX/MIN button again and you will return to normal mode.
• Press and hold MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds to clear the recorded
MAX/MIN reading.
7.9 Positioning and fixing of the basic unit and the transmitter
•
With the foldable leg at the back of the basic unit it can be placed
onto any flat surface or wall mounted at the respective location by
the hanging hole at the back of the unit. Avoid the vicinity of any
interfering field like computer monitors or TV sets and solid metal
objects.

position for the transmitter. (Direct sunshine falsifies the measure-
ment and continuous humidity strains the electronic components
needlessly).
• Check the transmission of 433 MHz signal from the transmitter to the
display unit (transmission range 30 m free field). Within ferro-con-
crete rooms (basements, superstructures), the received signal is natu-
rally weakened.
• If necessary choose another position for transmitter and/or basic unit.
8. Care and maintenance
•
Clean the instruments with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or
scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the products for a lengthy
period.
• Keep the instruments in a dry place.
