8.1 Battery replacement
•
When the battery symbol on the display of the outdoor temperature
appears, replace the batteries in the transmitter.
• Please note: When the batteries are changed, the contact between
transmitter and receiver must be restored – so always insert new bat-
teries into both units or start a manual transmitter search.
9. Troubleshooting
Problems Solution
No indication ➜ Ensure batteries polarity are correct
at the weather station ➜ Change batteries
No transmitter reception ➜ Check batteries of external transmitter
Display “---“ (do not use rechargeable batteries!)
➜ Restart the transmitter as per the manual
➜ Start manual search for the transmitter:
Press RESET button in the battery com-
partment of the transmitter by using a
pointed object and press and hold the
SEARCH button on the backside of the
basic unit.
➜ Choose another place for the transmitter
and/or the basic unit
➜ Reduce the distance between the trans-
mitter and the basic unit
➜ Check if there is any source of inter-
ference

No DCF reception ➜ Start scanning with the -/°C/°F button
➜ Manual time setting
➜ Wait for attempted reception during
the night
Incorrect display ➜ Change batteries
➜ Press RESET button on the basic unit
