EMC/RFI
Protect the unit from EMI (Electro Magnetic Interfer-
ence) from induction heaters and microwave ovens
and Electro Static Discharge. Readings may be
affected if the unit is operated within a radio fre-
quency electromagnetic field strength of approxi-
mately 3 volts per meter, but the performance of the
instrument will not be permanently affected.

* only important for calibration during production.
Please do not insert sharp objects.
6. Getting started
Use the supplied USB cable for power supply. Con-
nect the device for power supply to a standard USB
port (for example PC) or use a suitable AC/DC
adapter with an output voltage of DC 5V.
All LCD segments will be displayed for about a few
seconds.
On the display appear the numbers five until one.
The unit is ready for use.
The display will change automatically between the
CO
2 concentration and the actual measured tem-
perature (15 sec., 5 sec.).
7. LED indicator lamps
Optimum air quality:
The CO
2 concentration is below 800 ppm. The
green warning lamp lights up.
4. For your safety
This product is exclusively intended for the field of
application described above. It should only be used
as described within these instructions.
Unauthorized repairs, modifications or changes to
the product are prohibited.
Caution!
Risk of electrocution!
Connect the device only to a standard USB port or
plug it by means of an external AC/DC adapter in a
socket installed according to directions and with a
mains voltage of 230V! Otherwise your device may
be damaged.
The device and the USB cable must not come into
contact with water or moisture. It should be operat-
ed in dry interiors.
Do not use the device if the housing or the USB
cable are damaged.
Keep the device out of reach of persons (including
children) who cannot fully appreciate the potential
risks of handling electrical equipment.
Disconnect the power supply if any fault occurs or if
the device is not used for a long period of time.
Only use the supplied USB cable
Route the USB cable lead so that it does not come
into contact with sharp-edged or hot objects.
Important information
on product safety!
Do not place your product near extreme tempera-
tures, vibrations or shocks.
To avoid damage to the electronics, do not remove
the protective cover and never insert sharp objects
into the ventilation slots.
