8. Troubleshooting
Problems Solution
No hand movement
Ensure that the battery for the movement is inserted with correct polarity
Change the battery for the movement
No backlight Ensure that the batteries for the backlight are inserted with correct
polarity
Change the batteries for the backlight
Connect the power adapter
Move the switch to position ON
Check whether shadow or light affect the light sensor
(in position AUTO)
No DCF reception Press and hold the WAVE button for three seconds and start the
initialization manually
Wait for attempted reception during the night
Choose another place for your product
Manual setting of the clock
Check if there is any source of interference.
Restart the radio-controlled clock according to the manual
Incorrect indication Use a pin to press the RESET button
Change the battery for the movement
If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you purchased it.
9. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components which can be re-
cycled and reused.
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste.
As a consumer, you are legally required to take them to your retail store or to an appro-
priate collection site depending on national or local regulations in order to protect the
environment.
