5.3 Reference Equipment for Type Approval
The Gemalto M2M reference setup submitted to type approve EHS6-A (including a special ap-
proval adapter for the DSB75) is shown in the following figure
1
:

1. For RF performance tests a mini-SMT/U.FL to SMA adapter with attached 6dB coaxial attenuator is cho-
sen to connect the evaluation module directly to the GSM/UMTS test equipment instead of employing
the SMA antenna connectors on the EHS6-A-DSB75 adapter as shown in Figure 9. The following pro-
ducts are recommended:
