To Detach Battery Pack Depress both battery-release buttons located on the side of the battery pack to release the battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and remove it from the tool. CAUTION: When placing battery pack in your cordless reciprocating saw, be sure raised rib on battery pack aligns with groove in saw’s battery port and latches snap in place properly.
