Quick start guide
This manual contains important information on the safe operation of the device.
Read and follow the safety advice and instructions given. Retain the manual for
future reference. If you pass the device on to others please include this manual.
For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials
have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling. Ensure that plastic
bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these ma-
terials with your normal household waste, but make sure that they are collected
for recycling. Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.
This product is subject to the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment Directive (WEEE) in its currently valid version. Do not dispose of your old
device with your normal household waste. Dispose of this product through an
approved waste disposal rm or through your local waste facility. Comply with
the rules and regulations that apply in your country. If in doubt, consult your lo-
cal waste disposal facility.

Intended use
This device is used to convert acoustic signals into electrical ones. Any other use or
use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and may result in
personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages result-
ing from improper use.
Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are
not within reach of babies and young children. Choking hazard! Ensure
that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the
unit. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let unattended chil-
dren use electrical devices.

General handling
To prevent damage, never use force when operating the switches and controls.
Never immerse the appliance in water. Just wipe it with a clean dry cloth. Do not use
liquid cleaners such as benzene, thinners or ammable cleaning agents.
Keep foreign substances from the unit!
Keep the device away from containers with liquids. Should any liquid get into the unit,
this could lead to its destruction or re. Be sure not to let any metal objects into the unit.

Using the product
1. Fix the microphone with the locking screw at the desired tilt angle.
2. Connect the USB C port of the microphone to the USB port of a computer (Win-
dows® or Mac OS®) using the supplied USB cable. The computer will recognize
the device and automatically install the required driver.
3. When using computers with the Windows® operating system, you can congure
the device as required via the Control Panel => Sound => Recording.
4. When using computers with the Mac OS® operating system, you can congure
the device as required via System Preferences => Sound => Input.
5. Speak or sing in the direction of the microphone basket. To mute the micro-
phone signal, press the MUTE button. Press it again to unmute.
6. Use the MIC GAIN control to set the sensitivity and thus the amount of pre-am-
plication for the microphone signal.
7. You can connect an instrument to the INST input using a ¼" jack cable. You can
adjust its signal level with the INST GAIN control.

8. You can connect playback devices such as smart phones, tablets, etc. to the
AUX IN input using a 3.5 mm mini jack cable. You can adjust its signal level
with the AUX LEVEL control.
9. The left LED chain shows the input level. Set the MIC GAIN, INST GAIN and AUX
LEVEL controls so that the CL-LED does not light up too often, as this indicates
an overload of the device input.
10. For direct monitoring of the signal, connect headphones to the headphone
output.
11. The right LED chain shows the output level. Use the MONITOR control to set
the desired headphone volume so that the CL-LED does not light up too often,
as this leads to audible distortion.
12. The USB connection works in both directions. This allows you to play a signal
from the computer through the headphones connected to the microphone.
Then you can use the MIX control to set the ratio of microphone and USB
signal in the headphone signal.
