LAGERUNG UND ENTSORGUNG
Durch die Lagerung Wasser und Nahrungsmittel nicht
kontaminieren. Biozid-Lagerung: Lagern sie das Gerät, ungenutzte
Plättchen und die Butangaspatronen in der Originalverpackung an
einem kühlen, trockenen Platz, in ausreichendem
Sicherheitsabstand zu Hitzequellen und wo Kinder und Haustiere
keinen Zugang haben. Patronen nicht nachfüllen oder
wiederverwenden. Leere Patronen nicht anstechen oder
verbrennen. Im Hausmüll entsorgen oder Recyclingstelle zuführen.
Für teilweise entleerte Patronen oder ungebrauchte Plättchen:
Kontaktieren sie ihre lokale Problemstoffsammelstelle für weitere
Entsorgungsinstruktionen. Ungebrauchte Plättchen nicht in die
Kanalisation gelangen lassen. Kaputte oder nicht mehr
verwendbare Geräte dem Recyclingprozess zuführen.
VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN
Gefährlich für Menschen und Tiere. WARNUNG: Enthält Petroleum
Destillate. Gesundheitsgefährlich nach verschlucken oder
Hautkontakt. Verursacht leichte Augenirritation. Kontakt mit
Augen, Haut und Kleidung vermeiden. Vor dem Essen, Trinken,
Rauchen oder Toilettbesuch die Händle gründlich mit Wasser und
Seife waschen. Kontaminierte Kleidung vor Wiederverwendung
gründlich waschen.
ERSTE HILFE
Bei Verschlucken die nächstgelegene Vergiftungsinformations-
zentrale oder Arzt für Behandlungsinstruktionen kontaktieren.
Kein Erbrechen herbeiführen, außer von Vergiftungsinformations-
zentrum oder Arzt angeordnet. Person keine Flüssigkeit
verabreichen. Bewusstlosen Personen oral nichts zuführen. Bei
Kontakt mit Haut oder Kleidung: Kontaminierte Kleidung ausziehen
und der Reinigung zuführen. Bei Hautkontakt, den kontaminierten
Bereich gründlich für 15-20 Minuten mit klarem Wasser spülen.
Vergiftungsinformationszentrale oder Arzt für Behandlungs-
instruktionen kontaktieren.
Bei Augenkontakt das betroffene Auge offenhalten und 15-20
Minuten mit klarem Wasser behutsam spülen. Etwaige
Kontaktlinsen erst nach den ersten 5 Minuten der Augenspülung
aus dem Auge entfernen und Spülung dann fortsetzen.
Vergiftungsinformationszentrale oder Arzt für Behandlungs-
instruktionen und weitere Informationen kontaktieren. Halten sie
die Produktinformation vor Kontaktaufnahme mit Vergiftungs-
informationszentrum bzw. Arzt bereit.
PHYSIKALISCHE & CHEMISCHE WARNHINWEISE
Extrem entflammbar. Behälter steht unter Druck: Kann bei
Erwärmung bersten. Von Hitze, heißen Oberflächen, Funken,
offenen Flammen sowie anderen Zündquellenarten fernhalten.
Nicht rauchen. Nicht durchstechen oder verbrennen, auch nicht
nach Gebrauch.Vor Sonnenbestrahlung schützen und nicht
Temperaturen von mehr als 50 °C aussetzen.
UMWELTSCHUTZHINWEISE

NÜTZLICHE TIPPS
Für beste Resultate, abhängig von der zu schützenden Fläche, 10
bis 30 Minuten einschalten bis das Produkt seine volle Wirkung
entfaltet. Dieses Produkt funktioniert bestens im Freien, bei keiner
bis geringer Luftbewegung, sowie in Veranden, Innenhöfen, Gärten
und Höfen. Bei Luftbewegung sicherstellen, dass man vom
verdampften Wirkstoff angeströmt wird. Ein Gerät auf einer Fläche
von ~21 m² (Fläche 4,6 x 4,6 Meter) oder 4,6 Meter im Durchmesser
nutzen. Auf größeren Flächen mehrere Geräte nutzen! Das Gerät
liefert Licht und vertreibt Stechmücken, Kriebelmücken und
andere Fluginsekten. Batterien speisen die LED Beleuchtung; Hitze
von der Thermacell Butangaspatrone aktiviert das
Wirkstoffplättchen und bietet Insektenschutz für bis zu 4 Stunden
(bis zu 12 Stunden bei der Verwendung der L4 long-life
Wirkstoffplättchen).
NUTZUNGSBESCHRÄNKUNG:
Nur für Anwendung im Freien als Insektenschutz. Nicht im
Rauminneren, in Zelten oder geschlossenen Räumen verwenden.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.
Store unused mats in original box in a cool, dry place inaccessible
to children and pets. Store device and butane cartridges in original
box in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat. Do not reuse
empty packaging, envelopes or cartridges. Do not puncture or
incinerate empty cartridges. Place in trash or offer for recycling if
available. If cartridge is partly filled or for unused mats: Call your
local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place
unused mats down any indoor or outdoor drain. For damaged
devices or devices no longer usable: Place in trash or offer for
recycling if available.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS
Hazards to Humans & Domestic Animals CAUTION: Contains
petroleum distillates. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through
skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes
or clothing. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after
handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco
or using the toilet. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before
reuse.
FIRST AID
If Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for
treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a
poison control center or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the
person. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If
On Skin or Clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin
immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison
control center or doctor for treatment advice.
If In Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for
15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5
minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Call a poison control center or
doctor for treatment advice or additional information on this
pesticide product. Have the product container or label with you
when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for
treatment.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS
Extremely flammable. Contents under pressure. Keep away from
fire, sparks and heated surfaces. Do not puncture or incinerate
butane container. Exposure to temperatures above 120ºF may
cause bursting.
ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS
This product is toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. Do not apply
directly to water. Do not contaminate water when cleaning
equipment or disposing of equipment washwater or rinsate. Drift
may be hazardous to aquatic organisms in water adjacent to
treated areas.
USEFUL TIPS
Allow 10 to 30 minutes, depending upon the size of the area, for
product to take effect. This product works well in outdoor areas
where there is minimal air movement, such as decks, unenclosed
porches, patios and yards. Product may be used for outdoor
camping. Use one lantern per each 225 square feet/~21m² (an area
15’ x 15’ or 4.6 x 4.6 Meter) or 15’/4.6 Meter in diameter. Lantern
provides light and protects against mosquitoes, black flies, flying
insects and bugs. Batteries power the light; heat from the
Thermacell cartridge activates the mat and provides mosquito
protection for up to four hours (up to 12 hours when using L4
long-life mats).
USE RESTRICTIONS
Only for outdoor use as an insect protection. Do not use indoors, in
tents or in any enclosed area. Do not insert anything other than
Thermacell
®
mats into the device. Cover or remove all exposed
food. Do not leave device unattended or use in windy conditions. Do
not expose devices or mats to rain. Place device on a flat, stable
surface with the grill facing upward. Clean with a damp cloth only
when the device is cool and inactive. Butane cartridges other than
Thermacell
®
cartridges will not work in this device.

ENTREPOSAGE ET ÉLIMINATION
Ne pas contaminer l’eau, les denrées alimentaires ou les aliments
pour animaux par l'entreposage ou l'élimination. Entreposer les
plaquettes non utilisées dans leur boîte originale dans un endroit
frais et sec, inaccessible aux enfants et animaux domestiques.
Entreposer le dispositif et les cartouches de butane dans leur boîte
originale dans un endroit frais et sec, loin des sources de chaleur.
Ne pas réutiliser les emballages, enveloppes ou cartouches vides.
Ne pas percer ou incinérer les cartouches vides. Les jeter à la
poubelle ou les recycler, le cas échéant. Pour obtenir les
instructions relatives à l’élimination de cartouches partiellement
remplies ou de plaquettes non utilisées, appelez votre organisme
local pour les déchets solides. Ne jamais jeter de plaquettes non
utilisées dans le système d’égouts. Jeter les dispositifs
endommagés ou ceux qui ne sont plus utilisables à la poubelle ou
les recycler, le cas échéant.
MISES EN GARDE
Dangers pour l’homme et les animaux domestiques ATTENTION :
Contient des distillats de pétrole. Produit nocif s'il est avalé ou
absorbé par la peau. Peut irriter légèrement les yeux. Éviter tout
contact avec le peau, les yeux, et les vêtements. Bien se laver les

manger, de boire, de mâcher du chewing-gum, de fumer ou d'aller

PREMIERS SOINS
En cas d’ingestion : Appeler immédiatement un centre antipoison
ou un médecin pour obtenir des conseils de traitement. Ne
provoquer les vomissements que si cette recommandation provient
d'un centre anti-poison ou d'un médecin. Ne donner aucun liquide
à la personne incommodée. Ne jamais faire avaler quoi que ce soit
à une personne inconsciente. En cas de contact avec la peau ou les
vêtements: Retirer les vêtements contaminés. Laver
immédiatement la peau avec beaucoup d'eau durant 15 à 20
minutes. Appeler un centre antipoison ou un médecin pour obtenir
des conseils de traitement.
En cas de contact avec les yeux : Maintenir les yeux ouverts et
rincer lentement et délicatement avec de l'eau durant 15 à 20
minutes. Retirer les lentilles de contact, le cas échéant, après les
cinq premières minutes, puis poursuivre le rinçage. Appeler un
centre antipoison ou un médecin pour obtenir des conseils de
traitement ou d'autres informations sur ce pesticide. Avoir avec soi
le contenant du produit ou l'étiquette lorsqu'on téléphone à un
centre antipoison ou à un médecin ou que l'on se présente pour un
traitement.
DANGERS PHYSIQUES ET CHIMIQUES
Extrêmement inflammable. Contenu sous pression. Se tenir
éloigné du feu, des étincelles et des surfaces chauffées. Ne pas
perforer ni incinérer le réservoir de butane. L’exposition à des
températures supérieures à 49ºC (120ºF) peut entraîner
l’éclatement du récipient.
DANGERS ENVIRONNEMENTAUX
Ce produit est toxique pour les poissons et les invertébrés
aquatiques. Ne pas appliquer directement à l'eau. Ne pas
contaminer l’eau lors du nettoyage de l’équipement ou de
l’élimination des eaux de lavage et de rinçage de l’équipement. Les
eaux de dérive des zones traitées peuvent représenter un risque
pour les organismes aquatiques des zones environnantes.
CONSEILS UTILES
Laisser agir le produit pendant 10 à 30 minutes, selon la taille de
la zone. Ce produit fonctionne bien en extérieur, dans des zones où
un minimum d’air circule, par exemple des terrasses, porches non
fermés, patios et cours. Le produit peut être utilisé pour du
camping sauvage. Utiliser une lanterne par tranche de 225 pieds
carrés /~21m² (une zone de 15’ x 15’ ou 4,6 x 4,6 mètres) ou 15’/4,6
mètres de diamètre. La lanterne fournit de la lumière et protège
contre les moustiques, les mouches noires, les insectes volants et
les parasites. Les piles alimentent la lampe ; la chaleur de la
cartouche Thermacell active la plaquette et fournit une protection
contre les moustiques pendant une durée allant jusqu’à quatre
heures (jusqu’à 12 heures si l’on utilise des plaquettes L4 longue
durée).

DEPOSITO E SMALTIMENTO
Non contaminare acqua, alimenti o mangimi tramite deposito o
smaltimento. Conservare le piastrine inutilizzate nella scatola
originale in un luogo fresco e asciutto inaccessibile a bambini e
animali d’affezione. Conservare il dispositivo e le bombole di gas
butano nella scatola originale in un luogo fresco e asciutto lontano
da fonti di calore. Non riutilizzare gli imballaggi, le buste o le
bombole vuote. Non forare né incenerire le bombole vuote. Gettare
nella spazzatura o riciclare ove possibile. Per bombole
parzialmente piene o piastrine inutilizzate: Contattare l’agenzia
locale per lo smaltimento dei rifiuti solidi per le istruzioni sullo
smaltimento. Non gettare mai le piastrine inutilizzate negli scarichi
interni o esterni. Per dispositivi danneggiati o non più utilizzabili:
Gettare nella spazzatura o riciclare ove possibile.
CONSIGLI DI PRUDENZA

PRIMO SOCCORSO
In caso di ingestione: Rivolgersi immediatamente a un centro

antiveleno o da un medico. Non somministrare liquidi alla persona.
Non somministrare alcuna sostanza per via orale a una persona
priva di sensi. In caso di contatto con la pelle o gli indumenti:
Togliere immediatamente gli indumenti contaminati. Sciacquare la
pelle immediatamente con abbondante acqua per 15-20 minuti.
Rivolgersi immediatamente a un centro antiveleno o a un medico
per consigli sul trattamento.
In caso di contatto con gli occhi: Tenere gli occhi aperti e
sciacquare lentamente e delicatamente con acqua per 15-20
minuti. Dopo i primi 5 minuti togliere le lenti a contatto, se presenti,
poi continuare a sciacquare gli occhi. Rivolgersi a un centro
antiveleno o a un medico per consigli sul trattamento o ulteriori

PERICOLI FISICI E CHIMICI
Estremamente infiammabile. Contenuto sotto pressione. Tenere
lontano da fuoco, scintille e superfici riscaldate. Non forare né
incenerire il contenitore del gas butano. L’esposizione a
temperature superiori a 50°C può causare scoppio.
PERICOLI AMBIENTALI
Il prodotto è tossico per pesci e invertebrati acquatici. Non
applicare direttamente all’acqua. Non contaminare l’acqua quando
si pulisce l’apparecchiatura oppure si smaltisce l’acqua di lavaggio
o risciacquo dell’apparecchiatura. La deriva può essere pericolosa
per gli organismi acquatici presenti nelle acque adiacenti le aree
trattate.
CONSIGLI UTILI
Attendere 10-30 minuti, a seconda della grandezza dell’area,
affinché il prodotto diventi efficace. Il prodotto funziona bene nelle
aree esterne dove vi è un minimo movimento d’aria (per es.
terrazze, verande aperte, patii e giardini). Il prodotto può essere
utilizzato per il campeggio all’aperto. Utilizzare una lanterna per
ogni 225 piedi quadrati/~21m² (un’area di 15’ x 15’ o 4,6 x 4,6 m) o
15’/4,6 m di diametro. La lanterna fornisce luce e protegge da
zanzare, simulidi, insetti volanti e cimici. Le batterie alimentano la
luce; il calore dalla bombola Thermacell attiva la piastrina e
fornisce protezione contro le zanzare fino a quattro ore (fino a 12
ore utilizzando le piastrine L4 a lunga durata).
RESTRIZIONI ALL’USO
Solo per l’uso all’aperto come protezione dagli insetti. Non
utilizzare in ambienti interni, tende o aree chiuse. Non inserire
altro che le piastrine Thermacell
®
nel dispositivo. Coprire o
rimuovere tutti gli alimenti esposti. Non lasciare il dispositivo
incustodito o in condizioni di vento. Non esporre i dispositivi o le
piastrine alla pioggia. Posizionare il dispositivo su una superficie
piana e stabile con la griglia rivolta verso l’alto. Pulire con un panno
umido solo quando il dispositivo è freddo e inattivo. Le bombole di
gas butano diverse dalle bombole Thermacell
®
non funzioneranno
con questo apparecchio.
