Setting the CookSmart
®
feature
Select the appropriate frying level from the chart. Place
the system pan in the center of the element. The cooktop
must be on.
1.
Select the desired element. Touch the COOK SMART
touch key.
é lights up on the element display.
2.
Within the next 10 seconds select the desired frying
level using the number keys.
CookSmart
®
is enabled.
The temperature symbol é keeps blinking until the
frying temperature is reached. Then a beep sounds.
The temperature symbol disappears.
3.
When the frying temperature has been reached, add
the frying oil to the pan, then add the ingredients.
Note: Turn the food over as usual to avoid burning.
Turning off CookSmart
®
Select the heating element and touch COOK SMART.

particular foods. Frying time may depend on the type,
weight and quality of the food product.
The frying levels provided are designed for the system
pan. Frying levels may vary when using other frying pans.
