General Information Overall Dimensions HDDB30WS & HDDB36WS This model series is 26 2⁄16’’ (664 mm) in depth with the open drawer or 18 2⁄16’’ (460 mm) with the closed drawer, with widths of 30’’ (762 mm) and 36’’ (914 mm) and features brushed stainless-steel canopy with LED lights.

Electrical Requirements Ductwork Preparation The unit requires a 120V AC, 60Hz. 15A branch circuit. Discharge Direction The hood should only be connected to a dedicated circuit (with ground) that has been installed according to relevant regulations. Check your local building codes for proper method of installation. In the U.S., if there are no applicable local codes, this unit should be installed in accordance with the National Electric Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70, Current Issue.

Installation Instructions Installation Determine installation height Wall Installation 1. Turn power OFF at the service panel. Lock service panel to prevent power from being turned ON. 2. Ensure that the installation height of 30” (762 mm) from the bottom of the hood to the cooking surface will be maintained. 3. Mark a reference centerline on the wall. 4. Tape template in place, aligning the template centerline and bottom of template with hood bottom line and with the centerline marked on the wall.
Vent cover bracket installation Installing the range hood 1. Assemble the 3 pieces of the vent cover bracket using 4 - 4.2 x 8 mm screws provided. The assembled bracket should be sized to it inside the upper vent cover. A B D 1. Black wires • • When using both upper and lower vent covers, push lower cover down onto hood and lift upper cover to ceiling and install with two mounting screws. NOTE: For vented installations, the upper vent cover may be reversed to hide slots. 4. Insert the complete duct cover at an angle and swivel toward the wall.
Remote Control Installation (optional) 9. Press the bracket inside the cutout. Drill a ¼’’ (6 mm) tap hole through the bracket holes into the wall. Mount the bracket to the wall using the four (4) screws provided. Before you begin, read these instructions carefully. It is recommended that the Remote Control be wired to the hood after the hood is installed. REMCPW Parts Included • • 1 – Remote control 1 – 30 ft.
Duct Cover Extension (optional) 3. Mount the duct cover bracket on the top of the ceiling using (2) 1½’’ (38 mm) screws (provided). Ensure that the bracket is level. On some models, optional duct covers and telescoping extensions may be used to ill the space between the hood and ceiling in wall mount installations. Chimney duct cover included with the range hood ill the space between the hood and ceiling of 8’ (2.4 m) ceilings. Telescoping extensions accommodate 12’ (3.6 m) ceilings.
5. Carefully pull the top part of the extension upwards. Screw the left and right sides of the extension to the mounting bracket with the supplied stainless screws. Recirculating Kit (optional) When used in recirculation mode, To Reduce the Risk of Fire and Shock use only conversion kit Model RECHDDB. If it is not possible to vent cooking fumes and vapors to the outside, the hood can be used in the non-vented (recirculating) version, using the recirculating kit .
Charcoal Filter Replacement (optional) In the reciruclating mode, the air will be recirculated through disposable charcoal ilters that help remove smoke and odors. • Remove the grease ilter of the hood. • Position the charcoal ilter inside the structure of the motor as shown in picture. • Reinstall the grease ilter onto the bottom of the hood. NOTE: The charcoal ilters cannot be cleaned. It should be replaced every 4-6 months (depending on hood usage).

THERMADOR® conseille de ne pas excéder l’équivalent de 50 pieds (15,24 m) de conduites en longueur. Une gaine droite et courte installée à l’admission d’un soufleur à distance offre le meilleur rendement d’aspiration. Maintenez le système de gaines aussi court et droit que possible. Les coudes et les raccords de transition réduisent l’eficacité du débit d’air. Les hottes sont livrées avec une conduite de transition ronde de 8po (203 mm) de diamètre.

Directives d’installation Installation Détermination de la hauteur d’installation Installation murale 1. COUPEZ l’alimentation électrique au boîtier à fusibles ou des disjoncteurs. Verrouillez le boîtier pour empêcher que l’alimentation ne soit RÉTABLIE par accident. 2. Assurez-vous de maintenir la hauteur d’installation de 30 po (762 mm) entre la face inférieure de la hotte et la surface de cuisson. 3. Tracez un axe central de référence sur le mur. 4. Collez le gabarit avec du ruban.
Installation du support de l’abat-vent 1. Assemblez les trois (3) pièces du support de l’abat-vent avec les quatre (4) vis de 4,2 x 8 mm fournies. Le support, une fois assemblé, doit s’insérer dans l’abat vent supérieur. de la hotte, pour effectuer le raccordement. 5. Fixez solidement le tiroir avec sept (7) vis. 6. Détachez le connecteur de la hotte-tiroir et déployez-le vers le côté supérieur du boîtier du système de souflerie. 7. Installez les deux supports de câble dans le boîtier de la souflerie. 8. Acheminez le connecteur câblé sous les serre-câbles et ixez-le solidement. Connexion du système de ventilation 1. Adaptez le système de ventilation par-dessus la sortie de l’évacuation d’air. 2.

Fixez les caissons avec deux vis de montage. REMARQUE : Pour les installations de hotte avec ventilation, le caisson supérieur peut être inversé pour cacher les fentes. 1.
Installation de la télécommande (facultative) 3. Faites passer le faisceau d’extension de 30 pi (914 cm par la découpe et ixez-le au dos du support de la télecommande. Lisez attentivement les présentes directives avant de commencer. Nous conseillons de câbler la télécommande à la hotte après installation de cette dernière. 4. Enfoncez le support à l’intérieur de la découpe en appuyant dessus. Percez un trou taraudé de 1⁄4 po (6 mm) dans les trous du support pour atteindre le mur.
Caisson pour masquer les conduites (facultative) Pour certains modèles, il existe des caissons pour masquer les gaines et des caissons télescopiques facultatifs pouvant être utilisés pour combler l’espace entre la hotte et le plafond à l’installation d’une hotte murale. Les caissons de cheminée, compris avec la hotte de cuisinière, comblent l’espace entre la hotte et les plafonds de 8 pi (2,4 m). Les caissons télescopiques permettent d’atteindre des plafonds de 12 pi (3,6 m).

Remplacement du iltre à charbon (facultative) En mode recirculation, l’air sera recirculé par des iltres à charbon jetables pour aider à éliminer la fumée et les odeurs. • Retirez le iltre à graisse de la hotte. • Positionnez le iltre à charbon à l’intérieur de la structure du moteur comme illustré. • Réinstallez le iltre à graisse au bas de la hotte. REMARQUE : Il est impossible de nettoyer les iltres à charbon. Il faut les remplacer tous les quatre à six mois (selon l’utilisation de la hotte).

Instalación de la placa de ijación de la cubierta de ventilación 1. Colocar las 3 piezas de la placa de ijación de la cubierta de ventilación usando los cuatro tornillos 4.2 x 8 mm suministrados. Ajustar el sistema de ventilación sobre la salida de ventilación. 2. Medir desde la parte inferior del delector a la parte inferior de la salida de la campana extractora.

E A C Instalar las cubiertas de los ductos Cuando se usan cubiertas de ventilación superior e inferior, empujar la cubierta inferior hacia abajo en la campana extractora y levantar la cubierta superior hacia el techo e instalarlas con dos tornillos de montaje. NOTA: para instalaciones ventiladas la cubierta de ventilación superior se puede invertir para ocultar las ranuras. 1.
Instalación del control remoto (opcional) Antes de empezar, leer con atención estas instrucciones. Se recomienda conectar el control remoto a la campana después de instalar la campana. 4. Presionar la placa de ijación dentro del agujero. Taladrar un agujero roscado de ¼’’ (6 mm) a través de los agujeros de la placa de ijación en la pared. Colocar la placa de ijación a la pared, usando los cuatro (4) tornillos suministrados.
Extensión de la cubierta del ducto (opcional) En algunos modelos se pueden usar cubiertas del ducto opcionales y extensiones telescópicas para llenar el espacio entre la campana extractora y el techo en instalaciones en pared. Reemplazar el iltro de carbón (opcional) En el modo de recirculación, el aire recircula a través de iltros de carbón desechables que ayudan a retirar el humo y los olores. • Retirar el iltro antigrasa de la campana extractora. • Colocar el iltro de cabrón dentro de la estructura del motor, como se muestra en la imagen. • Volver a instalar el iltro antigrasa en la parte inferor de la campana extractora. NOTA: Los iltros de carbón no se pueden limpiar.
