Water softening system / special salt To ensure good rinsing results, the dishwasher requires soft water, i.e. water which is low in lime, otherwise limescale will be deposited on the utensils and interior container. Tap water above 7° dH (1.2 mmol/l) must be softened. The water is softened with special salt (regeneration salt) in the water softening system of the dishwasher.
Switching off low salt indicator / water softening system Switchngofwatersofnigsytem If the use of combined detergents with a salt component impairs the low salt indicator P on the control panel or the text on the display window at the top @ (enough salt for x rinse cycles), the displays can be switched off. Proceed as described under “Setting water softening system” and set the value to 0-8. The water softening system and salt refill indicator are now switched off.
Loading the Dishwasher Dishware material Glass and silverware damage Note: Before using your dishwasher for the first time, check the information in this section. Detergent Use only detergent specifically designed for dishwashers. For best results, use fresh powdered dishwashing detergent or detergent tabs. NOTICE: To avoid dishwasher damage: Do not use hand dishwashing products in your dishwasher. ▯ Do not use too much detergent if your water is soft. Using too much detergent with soft water may cause etching in glassware and fine china. This dishwasher uses less water than most, therefore, less detergent is required.

Système d'adoucissement de l'eau / sels Afin d'obtenir un bon rinçage, le lave-vaisselle a besoin d'une eau douce, c.-à-d. d'une eau pauvre en calcaire, à défaut de quoi des dépôts de calcaire se formeront sur les ustensiles ainsi qu'à l'intérieur de bac de lavage.. L'eau courante au-dessus de 12,5 °fH (1.2 mmol/l) doit être adoucie. L'adoucissement de l'eau s'obtient grâce à des sels spéciaux (sels de régénération) déposés dans le système d'adoucissement de l'eau du lave-vaisselle.
Remplissez les sels au maximum comme suit : 1. Retirez le bouchon à vis du distributeur 1Z. 2. Remplissez le distributeur d'eau (opération requise uniquement lors de la première mise sous tension de l'appareil). 3. Ajoutez les sels tel qu'illustré (n'utilisez pas de sel de table ou de comprimés). Produit de rinçage Dès que l'indicateur de niveau d'agent de rinçage Hs'allume sur le panneau de contrôle, remplissez ce dernier immédiatement. L'agent de rinçage est nécessaire pour enlever les taches sur les ustensiles et verres. N'utilisez qu'un agent de rinçage recommandé par le constructeur comme étant sans risque pour une utilisation avec un lave-vaisselle domestique.
