2. Connect the red oven wire to the red electrical supply
wire (hot wire).
3. Connect the black oven wire to the black electrical
supply wire (hot wire).
4. Connect the white neutral oven wire to the white neu-
tral (not bare or green ground) electrical supply wire.
5. Connect the green ground oven wire to the bare or
green ground electrical supply wire.
Installing a three-wire connection
1. IMPORTANT: Use the three-wire cable from home
power supply only where local codes permit a three-
wire connection.

2. Connect the red wire from the oven to the red wire in
the junction box.
3. Connect the black wire from the oven to the black
wire in the junction box.
4. Connect both green ground wire and white wire from
the oven to the white, green or bare neutral wire in
the junction box.

Testing the operation
Check if your unit is working properly after you have
completed the installation steps.
1. Turn on power at the breaker.
2. To test the oven select the bake mode. See the User
Manual for detailed operating instructions.
3. Verify that the oven light comes on and the oven be-
gins to preheat.
4. To test the door lock set the self clean mode. Con-
firm that the door locks when the lock icon appears in
the display.

number (FD) and the consecutive numbering (Z-Nr.) on
the appliance's rating plate.
You can see the rating plate with these numbers when
you open the appliance door.
