7. Place the food into the oven cavity, after preheating is
complete.
Canceling steam assist
1. Press ADD STEAM.
2. Touch the steam intensity in the bottom right corner of
the touch display and swipe to "Off".
3. Touch .
a The heating mode continues without steam assist.
10.11 Automatic steam programs
The steam programs help you to use your appliance to
prepare different dishes by selecting the optimum settings
automatically.
¡ You can select a program directly on the appliance or
by using the HomeConnect™ app.
¡ For some dishes, you have to enter a weight. The dis-
play will show the possible weight range.
¡ The display shows recommendations on cookware,
shelf position or the addition of liquid when cooking
meat.
¡ Some dishes require turning or stirring, during cooking.
The display shows a note shortly after operation starts.
An audible signal reminds you at the right time.
¡ Press INFO to display information on the right cookware
and tips for preparing the selected dish.
Note:You cannot pause a steam program. You can can-
cel it by turning the oven off, but you will have to start from
the beginning.

Setting a steam program
1. Press ON I OFF.
2. Press MENU.
3. Swipe to select "Steam Programs" .
4. Touch the bottom line of the display.
5. Touch the required category.
6. Swipe to select the desired dish.
a The display shows the settings for the selected dish.
For some dishes there are additional notes. Swipe to
the left to display all notes.
7. Some programs require a weight input. Touch the
weight field and swipe to adjust the setting.
8. Press START I STOP.
a The calculated cooking time is displayed. The cooking
time depends on the temperature of the food and may
change during the first few minutes.
a When the cooking time has elapsed a signal sounds
and the operation stops.
9. For some dishes the display offers the option to con-
tinue cooking the dish.
‒ Touch "Continue cooking". You can adjust the recom-
mended setting or cooking time.
‒ Press START I STOP.
‒ If you are satisfied with the cooking result, touch
"End".
10. Press TIMERS to end the sound signal.
