HEATING BLANKET WARRANTY
All warranty claims must be handled directly with the
MANUFACTURER. Do not return blanket to your dealer.
Although any warranties implied are limited to the stated period after the date sold to the original purchaser, some states and/or provinces do not allow
limitations on the length of time of an implied warranty. Therefore, the above may not apply in such states/provinces. Any claimant under this warranty has specific
legal rights and the provisions in the warranty are neither a modification nor subtractions, but rather, an addition to the statutory warranties and other rights and
remedies contained in the applicable state or provincial legislation. Manufacturer will not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any
defects in workmanship or material. Some states and or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the
foregoing limitation or exclusion may not apply. This warranty gives the original consumer purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser also has implied warranty
rights. In the event of a problem with warranty service or performance, you may be able to go to a small claims court, a state court or federal district court. The
heating blanket is manufactured to rigid quality specifications and will withstand normal wear and tear. The blanket should not be subjected to conditions that
can damage, cut or tear the blanket or excess chemicals or improper chemical use. PLEASE NOTE: Delamination caused by improper storage or exposure to the
sun of the heating blanket DOES NOT constitute a defect and therefore is NOT covered by the warranty.

BLANKET PERFORMANCE
The blanket heats by day and insulates at night. For optimum performance, leave the blanket on the pool when NOT in use for swimming, as the translucent blanket
allows the sun’s rays to pass through the blanket to heat the pool water during the day while the plastic bubble construction acts as an insulator to minimize heat
loss at night.
BLANKET INSTALLATION
Install the blanket on the pool with the BUBBLES DOWN. Before cutting, the blanket should be left on the pool for a few days to smooth the packaging folds and
allow for blanket shrinkage or expansion in the sun. This is normal. If the blanket needs to be trimmed, use ordinary scissors, being careful to avoid damage to the
lining of the pool. The blanket should fit close to the pool sidewall. To avoid cutting your blanket too small, cut slightly larger on the first cutting, then wait a day
or two for the final trimming. The blanket should not overlap the pool sidewall as this could allow an opening for wind to blow under the blanket. Properly fitted to
the pool, the blanket is held in place by surface adhesion, thereby requiring no tie-downs during windy periods and heavy rains. Do not cut your blanket to size on
your lawn as the sun’s rays will radiate through the plastic bubble sheet and burn your grass.
BLANKET HANDLING
By using the “fanfold” technique, two people can easily take the blanket on and off the pool. To fanfold, simply pull three or four feet at a time over one end of the
pool and continuously fanfold the blanket “accordion-fashion” until the entire blanket is stacked on the deck. THE BLANKET MUST THEN BE COVERED WITH A
LIGHT COLOURED PROTECTIVE COVER, WHEN ON A REEL SYSTEM, OR AS A STANDALONE. To avoid damage to the blanket, do not drag it across a rough
deck, coping or sharp edge of the pool.
BLANKET PROTECTION
When the blanket is off the pool, it must either be placed in the shade or covered with a light coloured cover. When your blanket is fanfolded off the pool or rolled
onto a reel system, the multiple layers of plastic bubble material exposed to the sun will create a tremendous heat build-up, resulting in extensive damage to the
blanket. Your blanket should not be stored in an area where temperatures might reach 120 degrees F. When your pool water temperature reaches 90 degrees F.,
the blanket should be removed to prolong its life.
BLANKET DEFECTS CAUSED BY EXPOSING THE BLANKET TO THE SUN OR EXCESSIVE HEAT WHILE OFF THE POOL (AS DISCUSSED ABOVE) ARE NOT
COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. The level of chlorine should be monitored to make sure it does not rise above 3 parts per million(PPM). If you must raise the
chlorine level to more than 3 PPM, then remove your blanket from the pool. Damage caused by excessive chlorine exposure is excluded from this warranty. To
prolong the life of your blanket, it should be removed from the pool during the winter months and replaced by a winter cover to keep your pool clean.
BLANKET CLEANING
A clean blanket is more efficient than a dirty one and will allow more of the sun’s rays to pass through the blanket to heat your pool water. Use water and a soft
brush to clean your blanket. To keep your pool cleaner, hose off the dirt and leaves from the floating blanket directly into the pool skimmer.
BLANKET STORAGE
Clean your blanket and allow it to dry thoroughly to prevent mildew. Fold it on the seams and roll it from one end. Place the blanket in a clean, dry, rodent-free
area where temperatures will not reach 120 degrees F. Exposure to the sun, water and pool chemicals during normal usage will eventually destroy the utility of a
blanket. When bubble disintegration, flaking or peeling occurs, remove the blanket from the pool.
OWNER’S INSTRUCTIONS
The MANUFACTURER warrants to the original purchaser of the BLANKET that the company, at its option, WILL REPAIR FREE OF CHARGE OR REPLACE any
blanket THAT PROVES TO BE DEFECTIVE EITHER IN WORKMANSHIP OR MATERIAL. After the initial ‘full warranty’ period, upon prepaid return of the blankets
by the owner, THE WARRANTY DEPARTMENT will, at its option, either repair the blanket at a nominal charge or replace with a new blanket as per the prorated
provisions shown below. For all repaired or replaced blankets, freight will be at the homeowner’s expense.
