7.7.2 Playing songs o a USB ash drive
The digital piano detects USB ash drives (USB stick) in the FAT 32 format that are not
partitioned. The digital piano supports USB ash drives (USB stick) between 2 GB and
128 GB in size.
1. Connect a USB ash drive (USB stick) to the USB port [TO DEVICE].
2. Press [USB] to call up the root directory of the USB ash drive.

The display shows the names of the MP3 or SMF MIDI les.
3. Use the rotary control to select a desired song.
4. Press [START / STOP] to start song playback.
5. Press [START / STOP] again to stop song playback.
6. Press [SONG] to disable the song mode.
You can play a single song or all songs once or in an endless loop. The play‐
back mode can be changed in the function menu as described under
Ä
Chapter 7.8.11 ‘Song playback’ on page 29.
7.7.3 Recording songs
7.7.3.1 Simple recording
The digital piano has powerful real-time recording capabilities. Record your playing
and save it to internal memory as a user song or save it to a USB ash drive (USB
stick).
1. To save the recording on a USB ash drive (USB stick), connect a USB ash drive
(USB stick) to the USB interface [TO DEVICE].
ð
The recording is automatically saved in the root directory of the USB ash
drive (USB stick).
2. If no USB ash drive (USB stick) is connected to the USB interface [TO DEVICE] ,
the recording will be saved in the internal memory of the digital piano.
3. Press [REC] to call up the recording menu.

If you have selected the digital piano's internal memory as the storage
location, the display shows ‘Overwrite User Song?’ .
