Product Manual

With normal care and storage, the TB-GP3 will provide years of quality service.
Always maintain cylinders in the recommended upright position.
Replace cylinder caps when cylinders are not in service and when transporting.
The following safety overview should be read in addition to the supplied
manufacturer Operating Instructions for the UL Listed Torch Outfit before use
of this product and should be kept for reference use.

CAUTION
!
Cylinders when full are highly pressurized. Always handle with
care. Never allow cylinders to be dropped, knocked over or subjected to excessive
heat. When moving cylinders, always be certain that valve protection caps are
secured in place. Place valve protection caps where they are easily found.
Replace cap when cylinders are empty.
#3 Oxygen Cylinder(empty)
80 cu.ft Capacity
Before using this cylinder you should familiarize yourself with the
MSDS for Oxygen. The MSDS is available under “safety” at
www.gaspony.com. Use caution when using, transporting and storing
this cylinder. Follow all safety procedures regarding the safe use of
this gas.
Safety Overview: Oxygen gas is stored in your cylinder at high
pressure (2000 PSI). Oxygen is a non-flammable gas that rapidly
supports combustion of any type. If high levels of Oxygen gas
are present, any combustible material will catch on fire much
more rapidly and burn vigorously as long as oxygen is present.
Caution should be used within this cylinder because the gas is
stored at high pressure. Care must be used when opening and
closing the cylinder valve. Please refer to the manufacturer’s
safety procedures included with your complete welding/cutting
torch outfit when connecting a regulator to the cylinder valve.
Always keep valve protection caps in place whenever cylinders
are moved or stored (full or empty).
Warning: DO NOT USE OIL, OIL BASED PRODUCTS OR GREASE ON VALVE
OR GAS CONNECTIONS. Oil and/or grease in the presence of oxygen become
highly flammable or explosive. Never allow oxygen to contact oil, grease or other
flammable substances.
#3 Acetylene Cylinder(empty)
75 cu.ft Capacity
Before using this cylinder you should familiarize yourself with the
MSDS for Acetylene. The MSDS is available under “safety” at
www.gaspony.com. Use caution when using, transporting and storing
this cylinder. Follow all safety procedures regarding the safe use of
this gas.
#3 Size Cylinder Cart
Use caution when using the cart, for transporting and storing the
cylinders. Follow all safety procedures regarding the safe use of this
cart.
Emergency Overview: Acetylene is a colorless, flammable gas
with a garlic-like odor, that is dissolved in acetone. The main
health hazard associated with a release of this gas is
asphyxiation by displacement of oxygen. Acetylene gas poses an
extreme fire hazard when accidentally released. The gas is
lighter than air, and may spread long distances. Distant ignition
and flashback are possible. Flame or high temperature impinging
on a localized area of the cylinder of this product can cause the
cylinder to explode without activating the cylinder’s relief devices.
Acetylene gas may decompose explosively at elevated
temperatures and pressures. Acetylene can form very explosive
metallic salts (such as with copper, mercury, and silver). Provide
adequate protection during emergency response situations.
Caution: The cylinder must remain upright when discharging gas.
After any Acetylene cylinder is transported or stored in a horizontal position, it will
be necessary to rest the cylinder in an upright or vertical valve up position for 24
hours. Never use the Acetylene cylinder in a tilted or in a laying down position.
