Description
A blend of pure waterproofing asphaltum aluminum
pigments plus the addition of non-asbestos fibers. This
material is designed for use on severely weathered
surfaces. This material will reflect up to 80% of the
sun’s rays, helping prevent excessive drying and
cracking of substrate, thus reducing leaks. Areas
immediately under roof will remain approximately
15 °F to 20 °F cooler in summer. In winter, inside heat
is reflected back into the building, thus saving energy
costs. Great for mobile homes and metal surfaces.
Uses
Mobile Homes, Residential Homes, and Commercial
Buildings
Surface Preparation
Clean surface with brush or broom, removing all loose
sediment and dirt. Nail down any loose parts.
Application
Mix thoroughly before applying and mix frequently
while using to ensure even distribution of the
aluminum pigment. Uniformly coat the entire surface
with the coating using a roofing brush or roller.
Apply evenly and do not over brush. For best results,
apply only on a dry surface when temperatures are
not expected to drop below 50 °F during the next
12 hours. Depending on surface condition, two
applications may be necessary. Avoid applying material
during period of high humidity. Do not apply if rain is
imminent within 24 hours of application.
* If material appears too stiff during cold weather,
keep in warm area before using. Keep container
tightly closed when not in use. Stir before and during
use.
Drying Time
Allow 24 hours depending on weather conditions.
Clean Up
Clean tools with mineral spirits or kerosene in a
well ventilated area immediately after use.
Coverage (Approximate)
