Description
Shingle Saver is a clear drying 100% Acrylic
Elastomeric Roof Coating designed to renew and
protect asphalt, fiberglass, and Slate Shingles.
Uses
ROOF SURFACES: Asphalt, Fiberglass, Slate Shingles
WALL SURFACES: Concrete, Brick, Stucco, Exposed
Aggregate, Decorative Stone and Wood.
Coverage
Approximately 100-200 square feet per gallon
depending on surface porosity.
Directions
CLEAN AND REPAIR ROOF- Sweep off all dirt, dust,
and debris. Remove mildew, oil, grease, or other
foreign material on the surface. Remove mold and
mildew with SealBest Concentrated Roof Cleaner
or bleach solution (1 part chlorine bleach and 3
parts water). Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
APPLYING ROOF COATING- Stir pail thoroughly.
Do not dilute. Apply with a 1/2” nap roller, soft
bristle paint brush or airless type sprayer (tip
size .01 - .015). For optimum performance and
durability apply a second coat after first coat has
thoroughly dried.
Drying Time
Dependent upon weather conditions, typically 1-4
hours.
Clean Up
Clean tools with water before material has dried.
Important
Read entire label before using. Application
temperature must be a minimum of 60 °F and rising.
Do not apply when temperature is expected to
drop below 50 °F within a 24 hour period. Be sure
to wear eye protection, gloves, long pants, and
long sleeves when mixing and applying SealBest
materials. In areas where dew or fog accumulates
in the early evening, it is best to coat in the
morning. Stop coating by early afternoon (3:00 pm)
to prevent wash off, which will occur if dew, fog,
or rain arrive before coating dries. Do not apply
if rain is imminent or forecast within 24 hours of
application.
