Installation
LAN connector and cable
The SAILOR 6282 AIS Transponder has two LAN connections used for connection to the
display and keyboard of the SAILOR 6004 Control Panel and for ThraneLINK Management
Application (Service Tool).
The two connectors are identical and of the type RJ45 with 8 leads
The figure and table below show the connector outline and pin assignments.

Important
For GMDSS installations: Only connect units that
are part of the system. For safety and compliance
reasons, the Ethernet interface is restricted to internal
communication in an isolated system.
