The RM will discard any data received if the receiving end is not ready to
receive/accept the data. For example if the board processor transmits data on a specific
tunnel port which has not been opened by the application processor.
8.5.8 Debug shells
The BGAN XL Radio Module implements a simple character-based interface which
enables a Telnet client on the data interface to communicate with a client shell (or
other character based interface) in the control-interface master.
8.5.8.1 Overview
The Telnet server implementation in the BGAN XL Radio Module handles the Telnet
session and forwards the Telnet data between the Telnet session and the debug shell
ports of the control interface. This is illustrated below:
The mapping of the Telnet port to the control interface port is listed below:
Important
The current release only supports one TCP and UDP tunnel. Four data
tunnels will be supported in future releases.
