Use cases
Table 12-2 shows an example of how the RM uses the Doppler compensation source
data to calculate the Doppler compensation based on when the source data is received
in conjunction with the configuration of the bearer. The number in the following list,
refers to the Time in the table.
1. Restart of the RM (Doppler correction mode is enabled).
2. First satellite longitude is received.
3. First position is received.
4. Configure LESP Bearer received but not executed since velocity is required until
Doppler compensation can be calculated.
5. First velocity message is received, Doppler compensation can now be calculated and
the stored Configure LESP Bearer message is handled.
6. New satellite longitude received.
7. New velocity message received.
