no HDR or ISDN support for example, has not been validated against the ISDN suite or
the HDR test cases.
The test results can be replicated and verified by the integrator by following the
guidelines described in section 12.7.2 on page 12-21 along with the protocols and
software mentioned in section 7.8 on page 7-40. It may be necessary for the integrator
to at least verify the ISDN test result with their own ISDN equipment.
14.5 Audio tests
A number of different MTRs are defined for test of the audio quality of the terminal.
These tests are all utilizing different test setups which can be seen in the MTR
document specifying the respective test case.
To undergo the various audio tests the terminal must support a dedicated test protocol.
The BGAN XL Radio Module supports this when operated in VCTS mode. When
operated in BGAN VCTS Mode the BGAN XL Radio Module can be instrumented using
the interface protocols described in section 7.8.3.
14.5.1 MTR 40 Handset Audio Levels & bluetooth audio
MTR 40 Handset Audio Levels & bluetooth audio, evaluates the audio performance of
any handset supplied with a BGAN terminal.
14.5.2 MTR 41 DTMF via audio channel tests
MTR 41 DTMF via audio channel tests, verifies that the terminal correctly handles DTMF
tones.
14.5.3 MTR 42 Echo canceller tests
MTR 42 Echo canceller tests, verifies that the echo canceller complies with ITU-T
recommendation G.168, and subjectively checks echo canceller performance.
