CARE and MAINTENANCE Perhaps the greatest environmental damage to wood furniture comes from wide swings in relative humidity (RH) in our homes. Wood absorbs and desorbs water as relative humidity rises and falls, and in doing so it swells and shrinks. Making matters worse, it expands and contracts unequally along different grain directions.

Up Side / Vertical Up Side / Vertical COMPONENTS – KEY DIAGRAM AR AL 7/15
ASSEMBLY STEP 1 3 Hinge l / Vertica Up Side 6 Small pre-drilled holes 1. Insert Dowel 6 into Divider C . 2. Use rubber mallet to tap Wood Dowels 6 into holes securely. 1/2 length of dowels should be exposed. 3. Align drilled holes on bottom of Back F with Dowel 6 on Divider C . ( Note: please pay close attention to the location of the 2 small guide holes which accommodate the lid support. They need to be on the same side as the hinges ). 4. Using 2 Allen Key Screws 3 to attach Back F to Divider C .
ASSEMBLY STEP 2 G G C Up Sid e / Vert ical C Up Side / Vertical F 1. Attach Bottom Panel G to Divider C & Back F by sliding on the gap between Divider C & the long rail on Back F .
ASSEMBLY STEP 3 NOTE: The screwdriver is not included in the hardware pack. D 8 8 C Up Sid e 6 / Vert ical 1. Insert Dowel 6 into Divider C . 2. Use rubber mallet to tap Wood Dowels 6 into holes securely. 1/2 length of dowels should be exposed. 3. Align drilled holes on bottom of Front D with Dowel 6 on Divider C . 4. Using 2 Phillips Screws 8 to attach Divider C to the middle bar on Front D .
ASSEMBLY STEP 4 B 6 D AL 1 1 F 5 6 6 D 1 1 AR 1 F 6 1. Insert 4 Dowels 6 into each Side AL & AR at specified location. 2. Use rubber mallet to tap Wood Dowels 6 into holes securely. 1/2 length of dowels should be exposed. 3. Align drilled holes on side bars of Front D & Back F with Dowel 6 on each Side AL & AR . 4. Using 4 Allen Key Bolts 1 (40mm length ) to attach Front D & Back F to each Side AL & AR .
ASSEMBLY STEP 5 NOTE: The screwdriver is not included in the hardware pack. H 8 G 1. Attach Bottom Support Leg H into pre-drilled holes of Bottom Panel G using 4 Phillips Screws 8 . 2. Use Phillips screwdriver to tighten Screws. Do not over-tighten.
ASSEMBLY STEP 6 NOTE: The screwdriver is not included in the hardware pack. 7 B 1. Attach Seat B to 3 Hinges on Back F using Phillips Screws 7 ( using guide holes underneath of Seat ). 2. Use phillips screwdriver to tighten Screws. Do not over-tighten. STEP 7 B 4 C 9 1. Attach Lid Support 4 into pre-drilled holes of Seat B and Divider C using Phillips Screws Round Head 9 . 2. Use phillips screwdriver to tighten Screws. Do not over-tighten.
ASSEMBLY STEP 8 AR E 2 AL 5 2 1. Attach Backrest E to back of Sides AL & AR using Allen Key Bolt 2 through drilled holes from Backrest E . 2. Use Allen Key 5 to tighten Bolts. Do not over-tighten.
