Remove the ten motor screws and
motor blocks from the underside of
the motor. Keep the motor screws for
later, but discard the motor blocks.
For downrod or angle mounting
instructions, proceed to the
next page. For CLOSEMOUNT
INSTALLATION, skip to page 9.
2. Remove motor blocks.
INITIAL INSTALLATION
1. Install the mounting bracket.
Loosen all four mounting bracket
screws and completely remove
the two screws and washers from
the round holes. Then, remove the
mounting bracket from the canopy.
Install the mounting bracket to the
outlet box (not included) using the
screws and washers provided with
the outlet box.
Note: Save mounting bracket screws
for later.
Wood screws and washers are
included to mount the outlet box to
the structure, if necessary.

IMPORTANT: If using angle mounting, ensure
the open side of mounting bracket is facing
the higher point of the ceiling.
