SAFETY INFORMATION Before the installation and use of the appliance, carefully read the supplied instructions.

• The electrical installation must have an isolation device which lets you disconnect the appliance from the mains at all poles. The isolation device must have a contact opening width of minimum 3 mm. • Discoloration of the enamel has no effect on the performance of the appliance. It is not a defect in the sense of the warranty law. • Use a deep pan for moist cakes. Fruit juices cause stains that can be permanent. Use Heated drawer Warning! Risk of injury, burns or electric shock or explosion.
Disposal Warning! Risk of injury or suffocation. • Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. • Cut off the mains cable and discard it. • Remove the door catch to prevent children and pets to get closed in the appliance. • Dispose of the appliance at any shop that sells new appliances or at the official SENS collection point. You can find the list of the official SENS collection points at www.sens.ch.
Baking tray For cakes and biscuits. Grill- / Roasting pan To bake and roast or as a pan to collect fat. Heated drawer Below the oven cavity is the heated drawer. You can pre-heat cookware in the drawer. BEFORE FIRST USE Warning! Refer to the Safety chapters. Initial Cleaning • Remove all parts from the appliance. • Clean the appliance before first use. Important! Refer to chapter "Care and Cleaning". Setting the time You must set the time before you operate the appliance.
3. To deactivate the appliance turn the control knobs for the oven functions and temperature to off position. Knob symbol, indicator or lamp (depends on the model - refer to the appliance overview): • The lamp comes on when the appliance operates. • The symbol shows whether the knob controls one of the cooking zones, the oven functions or the temperature. • The indicator comes on when the oven heats up. Oven functions Oven function Application Light To activate the lamp without a cooking function.
If you do not use the appliance for 3 minutes, the brightness of the display decreases to lower the power consumption. When you press a button, the display goes back to the active mode. Cooking zones You can operate the hob with the control knobs for the cooking zones. Refer to the user manual for hob. Hob cooking zones The cooking zone lamps (refer to the chapter "Product description") show which zone you set.

Inserting the accessories Baking tray: Push the baking tray between the guide bars of the shelf support. Wire shelf: Push the shelf between the guide bars of the shelf support and make sure that the feet point down. Wire shelf and baking tray together: Push the baking try between the guide bars of the shelf support and the wire shelf on the guide bars above.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS Cooling fan When the appliance operates, the cooling fan activates automatically to keep the surfaces of the appliance cool. If you deacti- vate the appliance, the cooling fan can continue to operate until the appliance cools down. • To prevent the meat juices or fat from burning onto the pan, put some liquid into the deep pan. • If necessary, turn the roast (after 1 / 2 2 / 3 of the cooking time). • Baste large roasts and poultry with their juices several times during roasting. This gives better roasting results. • You can deactivate the appliance approximately 10 minutes before the end of the roasting time, and use the residual heat.

Shelf supports Removing the shelf supports You can remove the shelf supports to clean the side walls. 1. Pull the front of the shelf support away from the side wall. 2. Pull the rear end of the shelf support away from the side wall and remove it. 2 1 Installing the shelf supports Removing / inserting the door Install the shelf supports in the opposite sequence. To clean the door remove it. Caution! Be careful when you remove the door from the appliance. The door is heavy.
4. Install the glass cover. Lamp Warning! Danger of electrocution! Disconnect the fuse before you replace the lamp. The lamp and the lamp glass cover can be hot. Before you change the lamp: • Deactivate the appliance. • Remove the fuses from the fuse box or deactivate the circuit breaker. Replacing the side lamp: 1. Remove the left shelf support to get access to the lamp. 2. Use a narrow, blunt object (e.g. a teaspoon) to remove the glass cover. Clean the glass cover.
Problem Possible cause Remedy The display shows 12.00. There was a power cut. Set the clock. Steam and condensation settle on the food and in the appliance.
