Prior to Installation: • • • • Make sure you have all the necessary parts and tools. Compatible with 1/2” NPT cold water supply line. Requires 1 1/4” diameter wall hole opening. Pre-installation: Using a 2x4 Optional, recommended backing Installation onto a 2x4 backing is recommended, but not required for installation. 2x4 should be flush with studs against the drywall. Pass the 1/2” NPT supply line through the 2x4. Faucet will mount onto 2x4. Faucet Installation Instalación de Grifo Step 1 Slide the mounting plate (4) onto faucet shank. Deslice la placa de montaje (4) en el vástago del grifo. Step 2 Thread the faucet body (1) onto the supply pipe. Slide the mounting plate (4) to be flush with the wall. Tighten the set screw into the groove on the underside of the faucet body. Faucet Installation Step 5 5A: If there is no 2x4 backing, use included anchors. Drill 5/16” holes at marked points, then insert anchors by lightly hammering until flush. Faucet Installation continued Step 7 Position the gasket (2), then mounting plate (4) over the holes, ensuring the set screw is down. Secure the gasket and mounting plate to the wall with the screws. Faucet Installation continued Step 9 Use a strap wrench to secure the faucet body onto the supply pipe. The entire faucet body will turn clockwise, be sure to tighten until the faucet is fully threaded and upright in its desired final position. Faucet Installation continued Step 11 Slide the cover plate to be flush with the wall, then use a H1.5 hex wrench (6) to tighten the set screw on the bottom of the escutcheon cover plate (3) to fasten it to the mounting plate. Faucet Installation continued Step 13 Remove the aerator, using an adjustable wrench. Remove the washer. Turn the faucet on for 1 minute to flush any debris from the line and faucet. Turn off the faucet and reinstall the aerator. Hand thread it first to prevent crossthreading, then tighten fully with adjustable wrench. Faucet is ready for use. Cartridge Replacement Tools Required: H2.5 Hex Wrench, 11/16 Socket Wrench Step 1 Reemplazo del cartucho Herramientas necesarias: H2.5 llave hexagonal, Llave de tubo 11/16 Shut off the water supply line. Cartridge Replacement continued Step 3 Use the 11/16 Socket Wrench to loosen the cartridge, then unscrew and remove. Utilice la llave de tuercas 11/16 para aflojar el cartucho, luego desenroscar y quitar. Step 4 Seat the new cartridge, hand tighten, then tighten with socket wrench. To align the handle correctly: 1. Twist the cartridge all the way to the counterclockwise (closed) position. 2. Mount the endcap so that the handle hole is parallel with the faucet arm. Reinstall set screw and handle.
