Eye contact
Rinse with plenty of water. Get medical attention immediately if irritation persists. IF IN
EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present
and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
Skin contact
Rinse with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation develops and persists.
Ingestion
Rinse mouth. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water. Do NOT induce vomiting. Get medical attention
immediately if symptoms occur. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or
doctor/physician.
Inhalation
Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES

In case of fire: Use water, CO2, dry chemical, or foam for extinction. Dry chemical. Alcohol

Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Combustible liquid. Fumes may catch fire.

As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH
(approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Sensitivity to Static Discharge
Fine dust dispersed in air, in sufficient concentrations, and in the presence of an ignition
source is a potential dust explosion hazard.

Methods for containment
Absorb with earth, sand or other non-combustible material and transfer to containers for
later disposal. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Methods for cleaning up
Contain spillage, and then collect with non-combustible absorbent material, (e.g. sand,
earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and place in container for disposal according to
local / national regulations (see section 13).
