 Make sure that your Sticker is applied to a clean, dry surface. The adhesive works best on

flat surfaces. We recommend wiping the surface with a damp cloth and waiting for it to

dry before applying your Sticker. Then remove the Sticker’s adhesive protectant, place

the adhesive in the right position, and press for 30 seconds to ensure your Sticker is in

place. The Sticker will be fully bonded in 24 hours.

 Once applied, the adhesive bond will completely cure after 24 hours for maximum staying

power! It uses a non-toxic adhesive, and is meant for a one-time application. Please be

aware that removing and reapplying Sticker will decrease the efficacy of the adhesive.

 If you are not able to pull your sticker off an item by hand, we recommend applying

adhesive remover or heating it with a blow dryer to remove it. This should loosen the

adhesive’s bond so that you can use something sturdy (e.g., a credit card or guitar pick) to

slide underneath and pry it off. Once a Sticker is removed from an object, you will need a

new adhesive to reattach it to something new. Tile offers replacement adhesives which you

can purchase.

 Our new Sticker has a 150 ft or 46m range. Slim and Mate each have a range of 200 ft or

61m. Pro features our longest range, coming in at twice the range of Mate and Slim,

measuring 400 ft or 122 m. However, as with all wireless technologies, different

environments impact the effective range of Bluetooth signals. If your Tile is out of

Bluetooth range, you can check its last known location on the app. This information is

automatically updated whenever anyone in the Tile community comes within Bluetooth

range of your Tile. All location and user information is secure and used exclusively for

finding accuracy. Tile does not sell any user data.

 Bluetooth and GPS trackers differ in many ways. In general, GPS trackers maintain a constant connection via satellite and provide real-time tracking. Bluetooth trackers work within a shorter range and are dependent on a connection to a Bluetooth enabled device. Bluetooth trackers typically cost less, are lighter and use less power.  No, the app is free to use for our core finding features like ring my Tile, find my phone, see its location on a map, share with a friend, and community find.

Android Devices If you have an Android running Android 8.0 or newer, Tile is officially compatible with:  Google Pixel/ XL One or newer  Samsung Galaxy S6 or newer  Samsung Note 8 or newer  OnePlus 3 or newer  Nexus 5x or newer If your Android device is not on the official compatibility list, it simply means we haven't tested Tile with your device type. Tile may still be compatible with your device as long as it's running Android 8.0 or newer, and has Bluetooth 4.0 tech.

1. Start the activation process within the Tile Windows app. Your laptop will sync with Tile via Bluetooth. 2. Follow the prompts and wait until you see a message that your Tile is activated. 3. Download the Tile mobile app, sign in and ring your nearby laptop! What settings need to be enabled on my laptop for Tile to work? How do I find my HP notebook using Tile? You’ll be able to find your laptop by using Tile’s in-app Proximity Meter The Proximity Meter is easy to use! Simply tap on the desired Tile from your list of Tiles and press the “Find” button. When within Bluetooth range, the green ring around your Tile will turn into the Proximity Meter. The rings will begin to light up gradually as you slowly walk closer, or will fade as you get farther away from your Tile.

How do I find my HP laptop using Tile if lost? If you misplaced your laptop, enlist the power of the Tile community. Simply tap “Notify When Found” in the app and you will be notified when your Tile’s location is anonymously updated by other Tile customers. When I turned on my Elitebook 1000 Series, it played a tune/beeped? What does that mean? This is an indication that you have a Tile enabled device. This is normal, especially if it's the first time you turned on your PC. The tune/beep will stop shortly. Because my Elitebook 1000 Series played a tune/beeped, does that mean my Tile is ready to go? No, please proceed to the sign in/sign up process. During this process you will fully activate your tile module and register it to your user profile.
