Sony Alpha Handheld Camera Cage Rig with Active
Cooling System(Tilta)
Tilta introduces a new addition to its family of professional camera cages:
the ES-T27. Custom designed specifically for use with the Sony a6 series
of cameras (a6000, a6300, and a6500), the ES-T27 maintains the sleek
design, professional build, and uncompromising machining quality typical
of Tilta products while introducing several never-before-seen cage features
that will surely astound current and future A6 series shooters. First
and foremost, Tilta has provided a solution to chronic overheating, a
well-known weak spot of the A6 camera line. To prevent the mercury
from rising, the ES-T27 includes an active (powered) cooling system,
driven by a quiet electric fan and multiple heat-sync modules. Next on
the features list is a first for Tilta: the inclusion of mechanical control
buttons designed to mesh seamlessly with the underlying controls of
the receiving camera. This unique button design enables Tilta to provide
superior wraparound protection to the camera’s body without obstructing
controls that are necessary to access. Taking a nod from prior cages
in the Tilta line, the ES-T27 features access to the battery door and
cable jacks, a 15mm light-weight support baseplate mount, lens
adapter stabilizing mounts compatible with most Metabones EF to E and
PL to E adapters, an integrated 15mm rail system, and an optional furniture
grade Rosewood grip/shutter control. (Purchased Separately)
