Installation of APP On your device, go to the Google Playstore/Apple App store and search for ‘Kit4home’ then download the free application. Please note: The Apple device requires iOS 7.0 or above and Android device requires Android 2.2 or above Operating System. 2.
Network Power Reset Port Remote Local RF Power Then using the provided Ethernet cable (internet cable) connect the Wi-Fi Bridge to your wireless internet router. Please ensure your device and the bridge are connected to the same wireless internet router. The lights will flash several times until finally the Local light turns off. Only the Remote light and the Power light should be lit at this point.
3. Connecting your Phone to the Wi-Fi Bridge Firstly, ensure the WiFi is connected successfully (as per the above instruction). Then, open the Kit4home Application, on the top right hand corner you will see this icon . Please click on this icon to bring up the QR code scanner (see images below).

ON OFF Now turn on the light switch in order for the bulb to light up. Once the bulb is on, press the Power icon on the application again (as seen in the images above) so it lights up and is turned on. The bulb should now flash green three times. This indicates that the phone has successfully connected to the bulb.
The setup is now complete. Please note: If the bulb does not connect straight away, turn the light switch off, wait a few second and then turn back on. Press the power button on the application until the bulb flashes green. 5. App operation 5.1 Controlling the colour In order to control the colour and brightness of the bulb go to the Colour wheel screen below. Slide to the left for RGB and slide back to the right for White mode.
Click on the Colour Wheel to change the bulb colour or simply select from the four colours options underneath. 5.2 Adjustment of brightness The numbers in the centre of the Colour Wheel (both white and RGB) represent the brightness from 1% to 100%. Scroll up and down to increase or decrease the bulb brightness. 6. Alarm and Timer In order to set an alarm or timer, click bring up the Device Information screen.
Click on the icon to set a time for the bulb to switch on or off. 7. Local / Remote Mode In order to control the bulb from anywhere in the world (on 3G or any other network), the Local Mode will automatically change to Remote Mode. Please ensure the WiFi Bridge and LAN are always kept on. 8. Other functions Add Bulbs to different groups. Add more groups. Fill in a new Group name (Bedroom, lounge, office etc.) and press “OK”. Press and hold onto the Group to change/update the name.
